What are adaptogens?

Adaptogens are a unique class of non-specific herbs, including non-psychedelic mushrooms, that help reduce the effects of stress on your body, whether physical, chemical or biological.

What classifies an herb or mushroom as an adaptogen?

Adaptogens must meet three criteria:

First, adaptogens must be non-specific and assist the human body in resisting adverse conditions, such as physical, chemical or biological, including environmental pollution, climate change, radiation, infectious disease, and interpersonal conflict.

Second, adaptogens must assist the human body in maintaining homeostasis, fighting physical disorders caused by external stress.

Third, adaptogens must not harmfully affect the normal functions of the human body.

Why should I consume adaptogens?

Research estimates that 90% of illness and disease is related to stress. Additionally, acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) stress can negatively affect overall skin wellness and aggravate skin conditions, including acne, eczema, and psoriasis. High-stress or chronic stress can interfere with your physical function and bodily processes and alter or shut down bodily functions, including the digestive, reproductive, and immune systems.

Adaptogens help reduce your body’s sensitivity to stressors to help it attain a higher level of equilibrium (homeostasis), therefore, lowering your risk of physical changes within the body and on the skin.

Are adaptogens psychedelic?

Nope. Adaptogens are medicinal mushrooms that act as functional foods and do not act on the mind or perception.

What is Unbothered?

Unbothered Adaptogenic Elixir is an Herbal Supplement made with ingredients that help support your body’s natural ability to handle emotional, physical, environmental stress and restore homeostasis. This combination of adaptogens work to help normalize cortisol levels, improve mood and brain health, provide a natural boost of energy, and lessen fatigue.

How long does it take to feel the effects of Unbothered?

Every body is different. While some people feel the effects within minutes, it may take others a couple of weeks to a month to feel a difference. We didn’t notice how much our elixir helps until we stopped taking it. Consistency is key. Consume daily and re-up.

Is it best to take Unbothered in the AM or PM?

Either. We recommend consuming Unbothered at a time when you need a natural energy booster for balanced energy throughout the day–with or without food. Check in with your body.

Can children consume adaptogens?

Please consult a pediatrician before allowing children to consume adaptogens.

Yes. Big Up Body Glaze is a clean formula. It is vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free. Unbothered Adaptogenic Elixir is vegan, gluten-free, and caffeine-free.

Are Deon Libra products gluten-free?

Yes. Unbothered Adaptogenic Elixir is vegan, gluten-free, and caffeine-free.

What is the shelf life/expiration date of your products?

The expiration date is printed on the bottom of each jar of our adaptogenic elixirs.

How many servings are in a jar of Unbothered?

About 25.

Are your products preganancy-safe?

Please consult your physician before purchasing any of our adaptogenic products.

My package arrived and BIG UP and UNBOTHERED have plastic shrink wrap, while SMOOVE doesn't. Why?

Great question! When we launched our newest product (SMOOVE), we wanted to improve our unit carton durability and sustainability practices by manufacturing a more durable unit carton that does not require plastic shrink wrap. To minimize waste and negative environmental impact, BIG UP and UNBOTHERED still come in version 1 of their unit cartons until our next production run.

In the future, all products will come in a carton like SMOOVE's and will not require the plastic shrink wrap.

We try to contribute to saving our planet where we can.

Shipping and Returns

A Note From Our Ops Team: Due to the impact of Covid-19 on our manufacturers and shipping carriers nationwide, your order may take longer than expected. Our carriers have been experiencing delays in deliveries. While most orders ship within 3 business days, some orders may take longer to process. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.  

When will my order ship?

You will receive a shipping confirmation via email once your order has been successfully placed. Please ensure your information, including your email address and shipping address, is correct as we cannot update, reroute, or redirect packages once they have been shipped out.

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed Friday through Sunday will ship on Monday. Please allow up to 3-7 business days for order processing prior to shipment.

Where do you ship?

We ship to U.S. addresses, including Alaska and Hawaii.

National shipping rates are calculated by the shipping provider based on package weight and destination. Additionally, the shipping guidelines published on this website do not guarantee a shipping or an arrival date.

Is a signature required for delivery?

We do not require a signature for delivery of our packages. However, depending on your shipping selection, the carrier may require a signature. Deon Libra is not responsible for undelivered packages due to no one being available to provide a signature. If you are shipping to a business, Deon Libra cannot guarantee delivery during business hours.

My bad—I entered the wrong address. Now what?

Deon Libra does not provide refunds or replacements for orders with incomplete, invalid, or incorrect mailing addresses. Please ensure your information, including your email address and shipping address, is correct at the time of placing your order as we cannot update, reroute or redirect packages once they have been shipped out. Additionally, we are not responsible for packages addressed to recipients who are not available or able to accept packages. We do not reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. If your package is returned to us by the carrier, please reach out to us at hi@deonlibra.com.

Where is my package?

Deon Libra is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information.

Additionally, Deon Libra is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please use the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email to locate your package with the carrier.

What is your return policy?

Please note that due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or refund your purchase. If you have further questions, please reach out to us at hi@deonlibra.com.

Can I exchange my order?

We do not accept exchanges. If your order is incorrect, please reach out to hi@deonlibra.com with the order number in the subject and we will make it right.

Can I Get A Price Adjustment?

Promotional pricing is only available from the start of the promotion until the promotion's closing. We will not price adjust for orders placed prior to the promotion's run date.

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel any orders once they have been submitted.

How do subscriptions work?

Sign up for subscriptions to receive your stress care products every month, with no stress. Subscription customers get a discount on every order, too!

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage your account information and subscription by logging in here or clicking "Account" on the site menu.

There, you can do everything from canceling your subscription, changing your shipping address, adjusting your order frequency, updating payment details, and more.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by logging in to your DEON LIBRA account. From there, select subscriptions.

Please note that any subscriptions canceled within 24 hours of placing the order will automatically cancel the entire order.
